About OFP
Opernfest Prague is proud to be recognized a “First-of-its-kind, industry leader” (Classical Singer Magazine) and “Revolutionary Young Artist Program” (Operawire), in young artist training.
A primary obstacle for young artists is how to professionally navigate the time after conservatory. Young artists require additional training after conservatory to develop nuanced style, technique and precision for the stage, but theaters will expect these details be secure before engaging a soloist. OFP’s curriculum provides an “industry-leading” professional training environment to bridge this gap, and equip participants with the essential tools and resources needed for international careers.
Creating an Environment to Excel
Fellows at OFP work 1:1 with our team comprised of leaders from Europe’s premier opera houses. Training is divided into three sections, focusing on the technical, stylistic and dramatic components of performance.
OFP’s training environment is supportive, collaborative and customized to address each Fellows unique professional goals.
